SCORING

A point is awarded for a correctly tipped Game win.
A draw may not be selected as a possible outcome.
A draw is treated as a loss, regardless of which team a Tipper selected or was allocated under the competition's Default tips rule.

MARGIN PREDICTIONS

Tippers should enter a score Margin prediction for the first Game of each Round.
These predictions are used to determine Jackpot winners in nine-game Rounds and end of season prize winners. See below for details on how Margins are are used to determine winners.

DEFAULT TIPS

Tipping is closed on a Round by Round basis 30 minutes before the first Game of each Round.
Players who do not enter tips before the closing time will receive the Default score – a tip for the team lowest on the competition ladder at the Round cut-off time.
Failure to enter a winning Margin prediction for the first Game of each Round will result in a default Margin of 99 points.

JACKPOT PRIZE TIE-BREAKERS

A Jackpot prize is awarded to a Tipper who correctly picks all winners in a nine-Game Round (except the final Round of the home and away competition).

If more than one Tipper scores nine points in a Round, the Jackpot goes to the Tipper whose predicted Margin is closest to the actual Margin (for the first Game of that Round).

The difference between a Tipper's Margin prediction and the actual Margin is used to break the tie.The tipper with the lowest Margin difference for the Round will be determined to be the Jackpot winner.

If more than one Tipper has the same predicted Margin difference the Jackpot prize is shared equally.

If no Tipper picks all nine winners, the prize jackpots to the next nine-game Round, excepting the final Round of the home and away competition.

If a Tipper does not tip for all Games in a Round, they will be ineligible for that Round's Jackpot prize.

END OF SEASON PRIZE TIE-BREAKERS

Each Round a Tipper's Margin difference is accumulated.

The total will be used to determine a winner if an end of season tie-breaker is required.

The Tipper with the lowest accumulated Margin difference will be determined to be the winner.

If there is still a tie, the equal top scorers will share an equal dividend of the Major prize ($3000).
