WELCOME to the hottest game in town - Mercury Footy Tips.

If you register to tip you will be in the running to win thousands of dollars in cash. You need the joining password printed in the Illawarra Mercury from Saturday February 27 to register. The competition will be open to the first 3000 people who register.

Each week the top scorer in that round wins $100 cash while the end-of-season victor gets a massive $3000 in cash. The runner-up scores $1500 and the third placegetter $500.

TO TIP: Tipping is easy. Every Tuesday and Thursday the Mercury will publish the special CODE to tip for the next round. You can enter your tips and even change them up until 10 minutes before each game.

When entering your tips you will be asked to enter a 'Tie-breaker' margin value; this is what you think will be the difference in final score between the winning, and losing, teams. This will help decide the weekly winner.

RESULTS: Each Wednesday we will publish a leaderboard of the top 50 participants in the competition. You also will be able to view the competition ladder online. The winners will be announced in the newspaper after the competition closes.
