- The Promoter is Ainslie Football & Social Club of 52 Wakefield Avenue, AINSLIE, ACT, 2602
- Entry is free, in condition to Item 3, below.
- Entry to the Ainslie FC Tipping comp is open only to members of the Ainslie Football & Social Club, who reside in the ACT & Queanbeyan areas.
- Information on how to enter, rules of entry details as detailed on the Internet site www.ainsliefc.com form part of these conditions.
- Ainsliefc.com is owned and operated by the Ainslie Football & Social Club Pty Ltd, ACN 102 364 321
- Users and groups authorise the receipt of tipping results and reminders, marketing & advertising via the Internet, from Ainsliefc.com. Year 2010 members authorise to be sent a message for the 2010 competition.
- User and group information supplied to ainsliefc.com will not be supplied to or used by any other organisation for any purpose.
- Ainsliefc.com accepts no responsibility for entires not received and/ or rejected by the website server.
- Ainsliefc.com has an absolute right to remove any participant or group if entries are forged or tampered with or are slanderous, defamatory or unsightly in any way.
- The Promotion begins on March 25th 2010 and concludes on Sunday 29th August 2010, and applies to the 2010 Home and Away season.
- Winners will be notified by email each week, the day after each round is completed. Grand prize winners will be notified by e-mail along with notification in the Canberra Times Public Notices on Thursday 2nd September 2010.
- Weekly Prizes, 1st-$125,2nd-$75,3rd-$50.Total =$250 x 22 rounds = $5,500.
- Major Prize, 1st-$3,000,2nd-$2,000,3rd-$1,000. Total = $6,000.
- The promoter reserves the right to accept or reject any registrations in its discretion.
- All communication between the promoter and the participant must be via the promoter’s website (www.ainsliefc.com). Weekly entries that are sent to the promoter by any other means of communication are void.
- Participants will be awarded one point for each correctly tipped game.
- Tips may be lodged up until 5.30pm on the evening of the first scheduled game of each round. In rounds where the first game is scheduled to begin before 5.30pm, the cut off time will be 30 minutes before the game is scheduled to begin. After these cut off times, registered entrants who have not entered their tips will receive the ‘Ainslie FC Phantom Tips’- being all away games. Tips may be amended, prior to the above cut-off.
- In the situation of multiple tipsters selecting all eight winners the winner will be selected by the first game of each rounds, winning margin, as selected by the tipster.
- In the event there are multiple winners that have scored the same round total and selected the same winning margin the following process will occur. If there are two winners that have selected the same margin the first and second prize winning amounts will be combined and split evenly. No second prize will be awarded and the next place getter will receive the third prize winning amount. If there are three or more equal round winners then all three prize levels will be combined and split evenly. No other prize monies will be allocated. In the event there is one first place getter and two or more equal second place getters then the second and third prize monies will be combined and split evenly amongst the equal second place getters. No third prize will be allocated.
- If at the completion of the competition there are multiple people who are tied exactly for score, and then Accumulated Margin Difference, then the process outlined in rule 19 will apply.
- In the event major prizes are unclaimed within a 3-month period from the date of their corresponding major draw the prize winner will be deemed invalid and a redistribution of the prize monies will take place after removing the unreachable winner. The redistribution will occur on Monday 30th November 2010.
- Directors, employees, contractors and their staff of the Ainslie Football and Social Club are not eligible for entry into the tipping competition.
- Total prize value is $11,500.
- All cash prizes are in Australian Dollars.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter.
- Entrants may join at any time during the season, and will automatically get all the away picks from previous games.
- It is a condition of entry that entrants have completed all contact details under their profile, otherwise prizes may be reasonably withheld.
- The promoter reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition from time to time as considered necessary. Individual notice of such changes will not be made, however an announcement will be posted on the website.
- The promoter takes no responsibility for unauthorised access to any participants tipping by any means, including where passwords have been revealed to third parties.
- Participants may not enter more than one registration. The promoter reserves the right to determine that a person has made more than one registration, and to disqualify any such person from the competition.
- The promoter’s decision is final on all disputes and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition.
